Award-winning Merser Double Barrel Rum captures the best rums of the Caribbean, from Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica aged up to 12 years, which is then blended in the heart of London and left to “marry” in barrels for a further 6 months.
Merser Rum is bottled directly from the barrel and has no additional colour or sweetener added to it. Discover this wonderful rum in cocktails or sipped over ice.
Serve in a classic rum cocktail such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan or simply enjoy neat at room temperature or over ice.
NOSE
On the nose, you will find an alluring vanilla sweetness with flashes of vibrant tropical fruit and a wonderful toasty oak character.
PALATE
Warming and generous with soft notes of vanilla, more of that tropical fruit and some wine-like notes created through the cask maturation process. Toasty oak returns on the finish alongside sweet vanilla and hints of pastry cream.

Such a smooth and delicious rum with a fascinating story – the best rums from the Caribbean blended in London (apparently London used to be a rum hub) with no added sweetness or colouring. Beautiful and eye-catching bottle. I love drinking this with ginger ale and an orange wedge – so refreshing! Equally good with Cola. Highly recommend.
